As Milan Fashion Week comes to a close, Paris Fashion week is set to start and apart from getting excited about all the fabulous designers that will be showing their collections, there will be one designer that will be missing. Kanye West, has decided to cancel his show for Paris Fashion Week according to Vogue UK, some may be happy about this… others may be saddened.
The real question to be asked here is, will this be temporary measure or is this decision permanent? West’s collection has been shown at Paris for the past two seasons and has been subjected to much scrutiny, critics have been particularly harsh on the rapper turned designer. However, that hasn’t stopped his celeb friends from showing support for his line, the likes of Kim Kardashian, the Olsen twins and Anna Wintour have all been seen at his shows.
Was it all too much for Kanye? Perhaps the rapper couldn’t handle another negative critique of his collection? Hopefully he will tell us all what his plans are concerning the future of his line and design career.
