Who knew Milla Jovovich was a Singer?

Milla Jovovich is one incredible woman, she took the modelling world by storm and is one of the few who made the successful move to acting. But it seems that this isn’t good enough for the starlet – Milla is aiming to become a triple threat as she aims to become a singer.

Many people may not know this about Milla, but she has been writing and recording music since 1988. She often records music tracks for films that she has starred in and releases free demo tracks on her website.

Milla released her single Electric Sky on May 18, which will be included on her upcoming EP due to to be released in September. We couldn’t really put a sound to Milla, we couldn’t really put her in pop princess category or anything like that but Milla clears things up by describing her music as “New Order-meets-Daft Punk-meets-Joni Mitchell-meets-Yo Gabba Gabba”…. Yup that clears things up!

Gabriella Wilde Covers L’Officiel Paris

After landing the coveted role of the face of Burberry, we see English actress Gabriella Wilde on the cover of the June/July issue of L’officiel Paris magazine. Photographed by Leo Cackett, we see that the magazine runs with the English Summer theme, (which we presume is to celebrate the olympics this year?) and my oh my Gabriella looks great.

Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes are Burberry’s New Couple

Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes replace Cara Delevingne and Eddie Redmayneas the new couple for Burberry. The pair star in the new Fall 2012 campaign for the brand and they are working it.

The couple were photographed by Mario Testino in a cinematic black and white shot with a backdrop of London’s Greenwich Royal Naval College, the image is really intense and has to be one of the better of Burberry’s campaigns to date.

Chief creative officer Christopher Bailey said “Using London as the backdrop, we shot the series of cinematic, emotive black and white images and short films with the incredibly talented Gabriella Wilde and Roo Panes, who effortlessly bring the campaign and our collections to life across all of our platforms.”

Elle UK Finally Unveil David Beckham’s Cover

You may remember that back in April we all discovered that David Beckham would be making history by appearing as the first solo Male to ever cover Elle UK magazine. Ever Since we have been counting down the days…

And today is the day we finally get to see the ‘Beckham’ July cover. Photographed by Doug Inglish, Beckham wears a blue t-shirt posing rather cutely. But let’s be honest when most women found out that Beckham would be covering the magazine, didn’t we all expect/ want a lot of skin baring poses from the footballer? So I was a little saddened by the fact that Beckham was covered up so much.

But the collectors cover saved the day, after submerging himself completely in water, Beckham emerges topless striking sexy Becham-esque pose. Hoorah! This is what we were waiting for.

ELLE Editor in Chief Lorraine Candy said ‘David Beckham is a national hero. He is an icon and Elle is known for featuring icons on its cover. This is a first for us on the newsstand and I believe he is loved by men and women alike. Anyway, who doesn’t want to see a picture of one of the world’s most handsome men on the front cover of a magazine? It will be a collector’s issue.’

The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala at Cannes was a HUGE Success

The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala in Cannes was a huge success this year, raising a record-breaking £7 million ($11 million) for AIDS research.

Jessie J performed during the dinner at the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes to a slew of A-list stars including Janet Jackson, Milla Jovovich, Kirsten Dunst, Diane Kruger and Heidi Klum.

Of course with the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and Harvey Weinstein offering the highest bidder a star role in their movie and Carine Roitfeld producing an all-black fashion show, which included models Karolina Kurkova, Kate upton and Lindsey Wixen, it was expected that the gala would raise a lot of money for a good cause.

Kendra Spears is the face of Moschino’s newest fragrance Pink Bouquet. The campaign was shot by Giampaolo Sgura and very much captures the spirit of the scent – it’s young, floral and fresh. Kendra also looks pretty amazing in this shot too.

Christian Louboutin: “I have been misquoted, I don’t want to create painful shoes”

Christian Louboutin wanted to get away from all those bad rumours that said that he didn’t care if his shoes hurt

“I have been misquoted,” he told Vogue UK “People say I am the king of painful shoes. I don’t want to create painful shoes, but it is not my job to create something comfortable. I try to make high heels as comfortable as they can be, but my priority is design, beauty and sexiness. I’m not against them, but comfort is not my focus.”

Well it’s nice to know it’s not his intention to purposely cause pain to others… that would be a bit too mean we would have thought. But let’s be honest, anyone who is looking for comfort in heels would probably pass on a pair of Louboutins…
