Having kicked off yesterday, we have already been treated to some absolutely fabulous looks. So far Eva Longoria has killed it by wearing a dramatic yet beautiful Marchesa gown.

Karlie Kloss and Jason Wu Team up to Raise $50,000 for the 2012 AIDS Walk

Karlie Kloss and Jason Wu have teamed up to take part in the 2012 AIDS Walk in New York this Sunday. They plan on walking a 6.2 mile route in order to raise $50,000 (£32,000) for AIDS organisations this Sunday.
Kloss spoke to Vogue to explain her decision to take part, “The idea came about at the Met Ball with a mutual friend of ours. We were in a sea of glamour and we looked at each other and said, ‘what do we do next?’ The AIDS Walk became a perfect opportunity to change our ballgown and black tie for sneakers and work-out clothes. Juicy Couture is even donating a bucket of money for me to wear their clothes for the event which is amazing – it’s fantastic to see my friends in the fashion community getting behind us, come on guys!”

Milla Jovovich channels Marilyn Monroe on the cover of the latest issue of Madame Figaro.
Seriously I had to do a double take of this cover and then study it for a good few minutes to work out who it was! Milla is such a talent and out of all the Marilyn inspired fashion shoots, this cover is definitely right up there with the best. We may not get to see a lot of Milla but when she steps out for a shoot we are certainly reminded of just how fabulous she is.

Carine Roitfeld Set to Stage First Fashion Show at Cannes

Carine Roitfeld is involved in another project, believe it or not… Though we don’t know where she finds the time, Carine is set to stage the first full-scale fashion show of all-black outfits at Cannes.
The collection will be auctioned off at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS gala on May 24 to help fundraise for the foundation.
Carine has curated a collection that includes labels like Chanel, Dior, Christopher Kane, Louis Vuitton, Cavalli, Versace, Givenchy, Pucci, Alexander Wang, and Balenciaga. If you’re like me and are wondering why black? The show was based around Carine’s idea of the perfect black wardrobe – makes sense.
